How much money can I make as an online fitness coach?
the short answer
15 clients at EUR 200 a month is EUR 3,000 in monthly revenue. The calculator below shows what you actually keep once VAT, your software and your business expenses come out - the realistic monthly income before personal tax. Move the sliders to model your own situation.
Most income calculators stop at revenue, which is the number that flatters you and helps nobody. This one keeps going. It starts from how many clients you can genuinely look after and what you charge, then shows what is left after VAT, your software and your expenses - the money you actually keep before personal tax. It also shows what a client is worth over their whole time with you, because a smaller roster at a fair price, kept for longer, often beats a big one you churn through.
What it looks like at three stages.
Revenue and software only, to keep these clean. Your full picture after VAT and expenses is what the calculator above is for.

growing

How the math works.
Monthly revenue: active clients x average monthly price.
VAT: prices are treated as VAT-inclusive, so the VAT portion is set aside for the state.
Coachway software cost: EUR 69 per month for up to 5 active clients, then EUR 9 per additional active client. Example: 15 clients = 69 + 9 x 10 = EUR 159 per month.
Other expenses: whatever you spend on ads, tools and help each month.
What you keep: revenue minus VAT, software and expenses - your monthly income before personal income tax. Personal tax varies a lot by country, so it is left out by default. If you want to see your take-home, switch on the optional set-aside for tax and savings.
Client lifetime value: a client's monthly price multiplied by how many months they stay, which is why retention matters as much as price.
Frequently asked questions.
How much money can I make as an online fitness coach?
It comes down to how many clients you coach, what you charge, and how long they stay. As an example, 15 clients at EUR 200 a month is EUR 3,000 in monthly revenue. What you keep is lower once VAT, your software and your business expenses come out - the calculator on this page works that out as your monthly income before personal tax.
What does an online coach actually keep from their revenue?
Start with monthly revenue (clients multiplied by price). Set aside VAT if your prices include it, then subtract your software and other business expenses. What is left is your monthly income before personal income tax, which varies by country. A client is also worth their monthly price times how long they stay, so retention matters as much as price.
