Since the beginning of the partnership in mid-2023, we've worked closely with Frederik Aagaard through a continuous, evolving collaboration that now spans over two and a half years. What started as a response to stagnation - unclear strategy, broad targeting, and no structured growth plan - has transformed into a fully operational coaching business with a dedicated team, systemized lead flow, and compounding brand authority.
Over this period, we've rebranded and evolved Aagaard's brand and approach multiple times to keep pace with how the online fitness coaching space has changed. This isn't a one-time makeover. It's an ongoing strategic partnership where we've continuously implemented new ideas, tested new angles, and refined the entire business model together.
Two and a half years of continuous evolution
Frederik Aagaard had been in the industry for years, previously associated with a major competitor that failed to add meaningful value to his business. After going independent and handling strategy on his own, he reached out - motivated by results he'd seen us achieve for other coaches he knew.
What began as a management and marketing partnership through EmpowrCoach has since evolved into a full integration with the Coachway platform. Over two and a half years, the collaboration has gone far beyond what a typical agency relationship looks like. We're an embedded part of Aagaard's business - thinking six to twelve months ahead rather than chasing the next sale next week.
Higher quality leads, longer retention, more than doubled LTV
One of the biggest shifts was moving away from a broad, unspecified target audience. We conceptualized a niched offer built around a specific concept, meaning the leads coming in are pre-qualified before they ever reach out.
Through our C1 framework, we focused on the full awareness journey - taking potential clients from problem-unaware through problem-aware, solution-aware, and buy-intended before they become a lead. Most coaches in the Danish market only go after people who are already actively looking for online coaching. We think six, nine, twelve months ahead. That's specifically what we've done for Aagaard, and it's one of the core reasons he's still working with us two and a half years later.
This approach means clients come in more motivated, get better results, and stay for longer periods. Combined with a revised pricing structure, we've more than doubled the lifetime value of each client and substantially increased profit margins.
